The new Mac should be appearing in the house around mid/late november i reckon, technically its my christmas present, all the family and relatives, and myself are contributing to the cost. So i am intending to save it to unwrap etc on christmas day (arent i daft).
I admire your willpower, no way I could leave a new machine under wraps for 4 weeks+!

Well, i can tick over with this one in the meantime. Besides which, if it is that im going to lose my job then ill have all the time in the world. Whats the rush :-)

Life was so much easier when we had a ZX Spectrum's, Amstrad's and Commodore's.
Anyway, as a Mac user who is intending to buy a new Mac soon (mines 8 years old), im going to have the joys of installing "Snow Leopard" which from what im reading is already causing mayhem with one of the most popular Mac page layout programs!
